Alfa Laval eDrive™
With Alfa Laval eDrive™, you simplify your separator’s drive system and cut energy costs. The design uses fewer rotating parts than conventional gear-driven systems, and its built-in oil quality control ensures more uptime, longer service intervals, higher energy efficiency, and lower maintenance costs.
Experience the benefits of Alfa Laval eDrive™:
- Improved energy efficiency
- More uptime
- Minimal maintenance, longer intervals between service
- Minimized operating costs
- Reduced wear-related maintenance costs
How eDrive™ works
Alfa Laval eDrive™ minimizes total energy consumption by using both ends of the separator, allowing a small, energy-efficient motor to be placed inside the machine. Its direct-drive design features a single shaft with three bearings and an integrated oil quality control and cooling system. With fewer rotating parts than conventional gear-drive systems, eDrive™ delivers lower energy losses, consistent oil quality, reduced maintenance needs, and improved overall efficiency.
